A Multinational Facilities Management company located in North Sydney are recruiting for a Senior Commercial Analyst to lead their largest Australian Project
About the company
Our client is a globally renowned facilities management business located in Sydney who are recruiting for a commercially focused analyst to join their growing finance team. This business has a large finance team offering extensive opportunities for the chosen candidate.
About the role
This position will support the General Manager and the regional P&L holders to understand the financial detail of their contracts and provide insight into where cost saving measures can be applied. You will be the business partner to the regional Managers, offering them a deep financial analysis of their division.
Your core duties will be:
Prepare monthly financial analysis for each individual region, conducting variance analysis between budgets, cashflow and forecasts
Identify key drivers on the contracts and partner with your stakeholders to maximise results
Review, analyse and provide insight to non-finance stakeholders on actuals vs forecasts, investigating variances and training non-finance colleagues on the implications of the results
Maintain and develop positive relations with suppliers and customers ensuring that all invoices are paid in a timely manner
Develop the annual business plan and forecasts alongside the commercial finance manager
Analyse business operations, including the revenue and expenditure trends and ensure the business is meeting financial commitments
Complete business reviews in accordance with divisional timetables
Position yourself to build relationships internally with business leaders across all relevant aspects of the business

Be CA/CPA Qualified
Have experience as a commercial analyst/project accountant

Knowledge of JDE, TM1 and advanced Excel preferred
Strong background working with and developing non-finance stakeholders
