Globally successful medical devices organisation currently seeking a Finance Manager for a 6 month temp to perm role managing a team of accountants
Client Details
Our client is a US Listed medical devices organisation with operations across the globe. This organisation manufactures devices and equipment which have revolutionised the medical industry and have enabled support and care both inside and outside the hospital. Role Profile
This role will report to the Financial Controller and support with all statutory & financial reporting requirements as well as leading a team. You will be tasked with (but not limited to) the following:
Ownership of all financial accounting including treasury, balance sheet & income statement preparation and various other finacial reports.
Month end close ensuring all balance sheet items are reconciled and P&L items are reviewed, along with investigation of variances.
Quarterly SOX testing
Responsibility for annual statutory audit process in liaison with external auditors and internal stake holders.
Support the team of accountants to prepare periodic BAS / GST returns, payroll tax, FBT.
Ensure compliance with tax and statutory related tax calculations and all other tax regulations that are applicable to Australia
Responsible for AP & AR function
Be a key leader of the accounting system integration process
Candidate Profile
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have the following experience:
CA/CPA Qualified
Preferably Big 4/Audit experience with 3-5 years post qualification experience
SOX and USGAAP experience is highly desirable
