Head of Finance

Leading Service Provider require an experienced Qualified Accountant to join their Senior Management team Senior Finance role in the Public Sector Reporting to the CEO you will be working as part of the Senior Management team. You will have full responsibility for the management of the Finance, IT and Administration functions of this organisation, supervising a team of 10 staff. You will be required to attend regular committee and board meetings Key responsibilities will include Preparation of monthly management and year end financial accounts for presentation to the Board Co-ordination of the annual budget process with subsequent variance analysis & forecasting Management of the debtors, creditors, payroll , pensions & procurement functions Development of processes & procedures to improve efficiencies Preparation of capital grant claims Treasury & Cash Management Activity based costing Preparation of reports for government departments and funding bodies Development of Internal Audit procedures Ideally you will be an Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA CPA ) with senior management experience who possesses strong inter-personal, stakeholder management and staff management skills.
