Accounts Assistant

Your new company Hays are currently recruiting for a internationally recognised Public Sector organisation. As a result of continued expansion and increased workload they are now looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis. Your new role As the Finance Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the execution of invoice and payment processing; including 3-way-match, invoice entry, problem resolution and processing of manual payments. Control the portion of the purchase ledger; Ensuring standing data details held within supplier accounts is accurate; Processing of vendor invoices and credit notes onto the system; Scanning invoices and other prime documents and attaching electronic copies to transactions within SAGE. What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate both verbally and through a written CV evidence of the following experience: A minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grade C or above, including Maths & English or equivalent qualification Previous experience in a busy accounts payable department, including proven experience processing high volumes of transactions.
