We are currently recruiting for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Duty manager for our 4 Star Hotel. The ideal candidate should have a high standard of customer service, knowledge of Hotsoft or similar front office systems.   We require the Duty Manager to have the ability to manage a large and demanding Hotel operation on a daily basis to include: Conferencing, Weddings, Bars and Restaurant. To have the initiative to deal with any guest's queries or operational queries / room set up's and Av equipment to a professional & efficient standard. To ensure our Guests service journey is a memorable one.    Communication and presentation must be exceptional at all times. The candidate should have prior experience as a Duty Manager in a Hotel of similar size in order to apply. Our team are highly trained & empowered to take decisions and embrace challenges, our customer care standards are second to none.   Your role will include working in the main function rooms for conferences and Weddings, delegation of tasks, fire walks, cash handling, and overseeing food service during peak times. Ensuring the Guests are happy, Customer focus is essential and is a strong culture we believe in. You will hold meetings with Staff and ensure your long and short term planning for each function is completed in a timely manner. Targets, management of waste, Wage control & budgets will also form part of your role.   Ideal Candidate must have: Previous Duty Management experience in a busy property Good Communication Skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to lead a team Exceptional Customer Service
