PQ Accountant (Dublin North)

ABOUT THE ROLE: Reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with senior members of the Finance Team, this person will play a vital role in assisting the achievement of financial objectives. Primarily, the role will assist in the month end group reporting and audit queries across a number of entities. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited, to: Assisting monthly, quarterly & annual group reporting; Preparing bank and intercompany reconciliations; Supporting a number of property accountants in other functional areas (i.e. construction accounting, fixed assets, corporate tax, etc.); Assisting in the standardisation of various functions (i.e. AP, AR, etc.) in conjunction with global entities; The production of accurate financial statements; Working on integration projects as needed, and; Carry out ad-hoc tasks as required. This is a long term position, and we see someone growing in this role" - Finance Manager ABOUT THE PERSON: 2-3 years' experience in similar roles within a multinational and SOX environment; Experience of IFRS, UK/Irish GAAP & US GAAP advantageous, but not required; Strong Excel skills required; Excellent communication skills, oral and written, with the ability to communicate effectively, and; Excellent analytic capabilities with attention to detail Working across all business types, but exclusively within the accounting, finance & tax community, Barden exists to share bespoke advice, guidance and support to professionals along each step of their career journey.
