Portfolio Accountant - US base PE firm

Responsibilities:

• Assist in prepare accurate books and records of Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing Office
• Prepare and review reports on investment portfolio, interim / annual financial statements for investment funds (including valuation and calculation of net asset value)
• Input the details of investment portfolio in the accounting system and database
• Assist investment team of preparing reports and analysis on investment portfolio
• Assist in implementing and monitoring all compliance related policies and guidelines in relation to the HK, Shanghai and Beijing Office.
• Track all expenses incurred by Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing Office
• Prepare payment voucher for Financial Controller's review.
• Assist in cash management and performing bank reconciliation for corporates
• Prepare and manage audit of Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing office audits and tax preparation
• Assist in coordinating with Office in Hong Kong and San Francisco for all finance related matters

Requirements:

• Degree holder in accounting / finances or other relevant areas of study
• Minimum 2 years work experience in accounting with solid accounting knowledge
• Good analytical skill and detail oriented
• Proficient in excel
• Must be fluent in English and Mandarin
• Responsible, independent, able to work under pressure, a can-do attitude and a good team player
• Good understanding of asset management business and private equity fund with strong communication skills
• Willingness to work hard and to learn
• Knowledge in PRC accounting and taxation is definitely an advantage
