Practice Bookkeeper

This well-established and growing accountancy firm based on the Wirral is currently looking to appoint a competent Practice Bookkeeper to their friendly team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be proficient in IT and well-presented. In addition, the candidate will have at least 2 years’ bookkeeping and VAT experience in a similar position. Some flexibility around hours will also be required.

The Practice Bookkeeper will be responsible for:

• Undertaking bookkeeping duties for a variety of clients
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Maintaining client records on Xero and Sage
• Preparing month end accounts
• Bank reconciliations

Essential Requirements are:

• Practice experience is essential
• Good standard of education, particularly in Maths and English
• Experience of a client or customer facing environment would be advantageous
