Financial Accountant role - AAT Qualified based in Oswestry

A organisation based outside of Oswestry have approached Hays Accountancy and Finance to recruit for a diverse and proactive Financial Accountant to support with their finance function. This company are a market leader within their sector and up-stand excellent reputation in the market with their innovative approach. This role will be part of a wider Finance team currently in place

Your new role
This Financial Accounting role is working within a large finance team and you will be reporting directly into the Commercial Manager. They are looking for someone who is a good all round candidate with a variety of experience. In this role you will be responsible for or have experience in;

• Knowledge of sale & purchase ledger however not responsible for the tasks
• Payroll knowledge including pensions, and unions
• Experience to trial balance level
• Reconciliation experience
• Ideally have an understanding of Sage and a good working knowledge of general ICT systems
• Monthly VAT Returns

• Production of Weekly Gross Margins & Management Figures.
• Credit Insurance/Setting up credit for new customers, maintenance and monitoring.
• Audit Preparation
• Update cash flow forecasts, as appropriate

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to have previous Financial Accountancy experience, good systems experience, an excellent telephone manner and you need to be able to work well within a team. Due to the vast client base you will need to be able to adapt to and communicate to all levels. You will be AAT qualified and ideally ideally studying.

What you'll get in return
A generous remunerating package which includes; salary bracket depending on experience of £25,000 - £28,000, 20 + bank holiday allowance which increases with service, working hours of 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30 - 13:30 Friday and access to an excellent company pension scheme.
