Top Tier foreign bank looking for Executive Director level tax operations, up to 1.85 million per annum

Your new company
One of the world's leading, top-tier foreign investment bank operating over 40 countries in the world is now seeking an Executive Director level Tax professional to help streamline, drive and manage Asia level tax operations and tax compliance for the region.

Your new role
Reporting directly to Regional Head of Tax Operations as well as the Asia COO, your primary responsibility will be to manage a team of five, directly looking after all tax operational related activities and projects across the Asia region. You will develop high-level relationships with various senior level stakeholders across different business units (including Technology, Risk, Corporate Tax, Transformation, etc.). You will drive processes and execute operational and compliance tax related projects, and work closely with technology and transformation teams to implement, guide and manage all of these projects.

What you'll need to succeed
To be a qualified candidate, you must have excellent stakeholder management skills, with the natural ability to manage, influence and confidently drive changes. You must have a minimum of 16 years of related tax experience acquired from a reputable bank or financial services firm. We also welcome senior tax candidates from Big 4 audit firms serving the financial services or banking clients. You must have strong communication skills and be articulate in English, and be confident and competent in dealing with senior level stakeholders and authorities.
