We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Full Time Duty Manager to join the Management team of our sister hotel - Great Southern Hotel Sligo. Applicants must have the desire and an interest in learning and developing their skills and should have excellent personal presentation skills along with a positive 'can do' attitude. Key Responsibilities   The Duty Manager will oversee the operation of the Hotel whilst on duty and ensure that a consistently high standard/quality of service, product and customer care is delivered at all times. To work as part of the management team to be innovative with regards proposals and ideas to increase all over business sales. To lead and to be able to multi task in a fast-paced environment. To manage functions and in the hotel. To assist with the training of employees where necessary. To ensure the Health & Safety of employees and guests.   The ideal candidate for this position 2-3 years supervisory / management experience in a 3* or 4* Hotel A hospitality related qualification is desirable but not essential Food & Beverage / Conference & Banqueting experience Reception / Reservations experience Excellent organisational and communication skills   The hotel offers excellent opportunities for career advancement.
