Working as part of a large high performing team, you will support the Payroll Director and take on a wide array of responsibilities in the delivery of a world class service. ABOUT THE ROLE: This role will suit a driven and enthusiastic professional with previous client services experience in a supervisory role. For the right person, this role will be a progressive opportunity to further develop their people and technical skills and to participate on the advisory aspect of payroll. You will be working alongside the payroll manager and have responsibility for the work flow of the junior payroll specialists. Main duties and responsibilities will include: Managing the payroll process for a portfolio of multinational clients across a range of sectors and industries; Managing, training and coaching the junior payroll team; Processing and reviewing payrolls of varying complexity across weekly, fortnightly and monthly frequencies and reconciling each payroll on an ongoing basis; Creating bespoke payroll reports for clients Fostering relationships with new and existing clients Liaising with external suppliers and administration of data e.g. pension providers; Setting up new client payrolls, performing data migration and conducting parallel payroll runs; Ensuring submissions to Revenue are complete, accurate and on time; Assisting management with billing, risk management, marketing and business development activities; "This opportunity will be best suited for a resourceful and flexible professional looking to further advance their career in payroll client services. You will have the chance to lead our junior team, develop relationships with some of Ireland's most successful organisations and create a strong global network" - Payroll Director ABOUT THE PERSON: Circa 3 - 5 year's experience in a supervisory payroll position or similar; A third level diploma/degree or relevant qualification e.g. Accounting Technician, IPASS or similar; In-depth knowledge and understanding of payroll taxes is essential Working across all business types, but exclusively within the accounting, finance & tax community, Barden exists to share bespoke advice, guidance and support to professionals along each step of their career journey.
