Practice Manager, Quality Practice Firm, Cork

Our Client is a long established professional practice based in Cork. They have the reputation for providing their clients with solid advice both accounting and tax planning. They have recently joined a network of accountancy firms and now wish to hire a Manager with a number of years experience in Practice. Role: Practice Manager The Firm has a large client base spanning local business and the Agri sector. The role is heavily client focussed and the Practice Manager will interact and provide business advice to each client. The successful candidate will manage an experienced team of staff with an emphasis on scheduling client assignments and will review all client files prior to the final client meeting. They will also mentor and develop the existing team. Business Development A key task of the Manager will be to increase the level of business that the firm handles from existing clients by providing an excellent service. Additionally, they will be expected to proactively target new clients by networking within the local business community. Candidate Profile The successful candidate should have qualified with a quality accounting firm and have focused on developing a long-term career in Practice. They should be driven to provide excellent client service and have the skills to manage the expectations of a large client base. The role is challenging and the management team are keen to recruit a candidate who can contribute to the long-term development of their firm and therefore the role offers excellent “upper” career development potential.
