So if you thrive in a fluid, agile culture but want the solidity of a storied and commanding brand, come join us! ​ An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team on a contract basis to cover a period of maternity leave for 6 months, with the possibility of extension. Reporting directly to the Market Controller, you'll be responsible for the accounting, control and reporting of multiple management reporting entities. Key Responsibilities: Ensuring statutory accounts and all other returns are prepared in line with all deadlines for review with Controller and signoff by Finance Director, working with Accounting & Tax teams as necessary Liaising with internal and external auditors as required, including project management of the statutory audit Working with Corporate Tax team as necessary, completing tax packs and supporting their completion of tax planning, forecasting, and account tax entries. Leading Expat Tax issues and the Research and Development tax credit calculation Supporting the monthly management reporting activities - from transactional level through to Corporate reporting Controls and detailed P&L and Balance sheet analytics and ad hoc projects as required Supporting payroll process as and when required Ensuring base financial records are correct and accessible in appropriate systems and management reports are provided in a timely manner Acting as the team point person for GDPR and assisting the Market Controller in insuring that the site fully complies with local and corporate requirements for SOX Working closely with Accounting Partners in Centre Valley to ensure all deadlines are met Supporting junior team members through training and development within the Controller team Research and development tax credit calculation, Delegate for Financial Controller in month end close, 606 and other key deliverables Completing Month End Reporting Deck and Dashboard for Dublin Site Key Requirements: Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA) with 2+ years post-qualified experience in Finance and Accounting within a multinational environment, supporting Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax returns Experience in supporting Tax a distinct advantage Strong analytical and technical acumen Good computer skills, preferably including Oracle, Business Objects and Hyperion Advanced Excel skills are a distinct advantage Excellent communication, collaborative and relationship building skills are essential Ability to be self-motivated and thrive in an environment with minimal supervision in order to maintain both personal and team effectiveness Ability to manage workloads to strict reporting deadlines All employees and contractors working in D&B Dublin should be aware that they have responsibilities in relation to the Company's Business Management System.  This relates to information and its security, quality, environment and health and safety both during and post-employment with D&B Dublin.
