Accountants- Do you want to get out of the city

Our client is an exciting software company that has recently floated on the stockmarket and are seeking an experienced accountant to join their finance team. This is an interesting opportunity that shouldn't be missed for an ambitious qualfied accountant looking to further their career in South County Dublin. Applications from Senior Finance personelle with experience in IPO's, Tax/VAT and 5- 10 years post Qualifed experience is preferable Duties will include: Monthly management accounts Quarterly reporting on Nasdaq Consolidation of accounts (4 countries) with multi currencies Pre-audit function and liaising with companys' auditors Internal audit ongoing reviews Oversight of month end cut-off functions (Bank, Debtors, Creditors and Revenue) Management of currency risks Ability to engage at high level with executive team. The succesful candidate will have: 5-10 years post grad experience in practice, commerce or industry IPO background would be a serious advantage 3rd level graduate plus Qualified ACA; ACCA Ideally a tax graduate/member of Irish Tax Institute or alternatively a good knowledge of Vat and payroll issues; R&D tax credits Excellent communicator. Strong interpersonal skills Strategic thinker Working knowledge of a Continental language is not essential but would an advantage
