This is a new role that will report to the CIO. The successful candidate will become a member of the senior investment team for Funds SA. The role will make an important contribution to Funds SA's continued success through designing and managing a Dynamic Asset Allocation (DAA) process.
The Opportunity:
This opportunity will see you lead the development of a DAA process that will be a new capability designed to enhance the return/risk outcomes of Funds SA's multi-asset class investment strategies. The newly created DAA process will be expected to complement the current SAA process.
The successful candidate will have strong and demonstrable experience designing, defining or working within a DAA investment process. This will require strong buy-side investment, financial market and product knowledge across total portfolio construction approaches and risk management. Significant investment experience gained within a global investment or pension fund environment would be highly desirable. As Head of DAA you will need a high level of self-motivation and real independence of thought, combined with the ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.
