Description

Our client is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their Accountancy team in Farnham on a 12 month contract basis

  • Management accounting reporting
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Monitor and report to the FD on capital and revenue expenditure and income
  • Budgeting processes and procedures

  • To lead, manage and advise on budget planning, forecasting and monitoring processes including monthly, quarterly and year end reporting

  • To provide leadership, advice and guidance to managers on Business Planning processes, transformation and continuous improvement

  • To lead, manage and advise on the maintenance and implementation of strong financial controls across the organisation

  • To lead on business performance reporting and analysis in support of financial decision making processes across the organisation to include business case and project evaluation

  • To lead on the management and continuous development of budget setting and monitoring procedures providing accurate and timely financial information to assist senior management with short and long term decision making

  • Work in conjunction with the FD in reviewing and updating charge-out rates used for budgeting and billing clients Project finances and procedures

  • To lead and direct on financial aspects of research projects across FR; to include internal and external contracts in the UK and EU/overseas

  • To review and advise on new commercial opportunities

  • In conjunction with the FD develop a robust financial strategy to provide assurance, balancing risk, value for money, corporate and strategic requirements to deliver benefit Staff management

  • Develop and line manage the Finance Support Manager (Systems & Budgets) and the Procurement Advisor

  • Profile

    A successful candidate will be part qualified ACCA/CIMA (QBE candidates will also be considered)

    Project Accounting experience is ideal

    Job Offer

    £35,000 - £43,000
