McArthur River MineDarwin Region | Northern Territory | AustraliaExciting opportunity for a systems savvy professional to join our growing Safety Team!McArthur River Mine (MRM) is one of the worlds largest Zinc, Lead and Silver deposits and is the largest supplier of Bulk Concentrate to the world market. Currently, this world class Heres Your Chance deposit has a long 20 year mine life. We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Systems & Reporting Advisor to join the Safety team. You will have the ability to excel and make your mark in this newly created role within an expanding team.Reporting to the Superintendent Safety, your key responsibilities will include: Providing on-site assistance, support and analysis for IT & OT requirements within the ESP department.Analysing internal and external HSEC data and preparing high quality HSEC reports, including for the Glencore Corporate reporting submission schedule.Proactively identifying, managing, escalating (as needed) and resolving data deviations and taking the appropriate action to prevent recurrence.Managing and continuously improving HSEC reporting systems to meet local and global internal and external requirements.Variance analysis of performance against plans and forecasts along with identification of performance improvement opportunities.Manage the provision of hardware, software and servers within company standards, legal obligations and business requirements.To secure this role you will require: Extensive experience in a similar roleAdvanced skills in IT environments, SQL, SharePoint and reporting platformsExperience in scope definition and requirements derivation in information management projectsExposure to IT/OT project portfolio management and strategic planningExperience in vendor, contractor, and third party service provider managementFirst Aid CertificateCurrent Drivers LicenseIt would be advantageous to have experience/qualifications in the following:Relevant Tertiary OH&S Qualifications or in the process of obtaining them to ensure a working knowledge of Health and Safety Management Systems.Working knowledge in Australian Standard - Health and Safety Management Systems (AS4801).Risk Assessment trainingExperience in hazard identification and facilitating the risk management processExperience in health and safety management systems development, review and implementationICAM Lead InvestigatorCertificate IV in Workplace Training and AssessmentAudit QualificationsRehabilitation Return to Work Coordinator qualificationHeavy industry experience (eg Ports, Logistics, Mining)We offer a competitive salary package, coupled with an attractive 8 days on 6 days off FIFO roster from Darwin.Applications close on Monday 25th June 2018 at 5:30pm.
