Finance Team Leader

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant who has supervised staff and looking for a new challenge?

My client are a well known business and they are currently recruiting for a Finance Team Leader to join their supportive and fun team based in their Uxbridge office. This is a fantastic opportunity for you if you have a proven track record of leading a team and turning things around. This role requires someone highly experienced with reconciliations and general accounts experience. This is a permanent opportunity paying up to £28,000 plus some great benefits!

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure control accounts are fully matched/cleared down and all journals posted within set time frames
• Manage the automated overnight refresh and reconciliation in the system
• Arrange weekly team meetings
• Produce period end reconciliations
• Monitor the performance of the team and identify areas of concerns that would need to be escalated

Key skills/experience required:

• Experience of leading/supervising a team is a must
• Intermediate Excel skills including V Lookups and Pivot Tables
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Experience working in a similar position
• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
