Our Client ,a prestigious Hotel in Sligo currently have a position for Sous Chef to join their kitchen team. They are interested in hearing from candidates who are passionate about food and enjoy working in a busy, vibrant and diverse environment. Duties will include preparing and presentation of food in our main kitchen for our 4 star restaurant. Some experience in a similar property would be of benefit to applicants but is not essential. They are committed to ensuring that our team is equipped with the necessary knowledge and foundation to carry forward our mission with confidence.   Duties The efficient running of  newly refurbishment  restaurant To be responsible for the effective day to day running of the kitchen in conjunction with and in the absence of the Head Chef. To assist the Head Chef in ensuring that the desired gross profits are attained. To assist the Head Chef in ensuring that the highest standard of operational hygiene is used at all times in the kitchen area. To ensure the agreed standard of uniform and personal hygiene is carried out in the kitchen at all times. To ensure that staffing levels are correct and to agreed standards and are not exceeded without prior consultation Other Duties are required There is an excellent salary and benefits for this position
