The role:   PhoneWatch is embarking on a period of significant investment and expansion of its residential field sale capabilities, and the regional Field Sales managers are key to the long term growth of the Company.   You will be responsible for a number of nationally dispersed sales offices and will have overall responsibility for ensuring that the region exceeds it sales and resource targets through the local sales managers.   Staff and management capability development is a core feature of the PhoneWatch approach, and you will need to have a strong understanding of the drivers and capabilities of your teams, a clear vision of their development potential and the commitment to put development plans into action   You will know what motivates your reps and managers and be fluent in the development and implementation of incentives and reward schemes   You must be open to new opportunities and be committed to exploiting them and will play an active role in the development of new offices in your region   A fundamental element of the PhoneWatch approach to is to recruit and develop the Right People - this means finding people with the right skills and experience, but above all else people with the right attitude.   What will I be doing?   The responsibilities of this role include:   Providing overall direction and leadership to a number of sales managers and teams, under the guidance of the National Sales Manager   Defining the strategy for the ongoing development and enhancement of your region in line with overall organisational strategy   Implementing the initiatives and programmes designed to deliver world class capability within your team.   Delivering the business critical KPI's for your team - and beyond Sales per rep per day Resourcing and recruitment levels Minimising cancellation rates   Playing a key role, as a member of the National Sales management team, in defining and delivering the strategic direction for the team while at the same time embedding the culture to ensure we have The Right People living the company Values.       What kind of person is best suited for this job?   A person who can clearly demonstrate their ability and commitment to the core values of PhoneWatch - Customer Focused, Goal focused, Willing to Improve and Reliable   Someone who has boundless drive and energy, and a burning ambition to succeed.   A results-driven leader, with extensive experience in delivering to sales targets.   An individual who has a proven track record of coaching and developing a sales team in a highly pressurised environment.   A person who has the experience and ability to understand what “world class in sales” looks like - and the ability to deliver it......     What skills and experience do I need to have?   The right person needs to have;   Extensive sales management experience in a highly motivated, target driven field sales environment.   Demonstrable capability and a strong record of delivering results beyond targeted levels.   An exceptionally strong sales focus, based on an ability to identify and understand customers needs, and an extensive knowledge of how to develop Field-based sales structures and capabilities required to meet these needs.   Experience of building and leading teams to excel.   Demonstrated an obsession with providing customers with the highest level of service at all times.   Proven track record of Sales coaching and development.   Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
