Commercial Accountant

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded accountant to join a growing Irish business. Working as part of a high performing commercial finance team in a fast paced environment, your responsibilities will include supporting all finance and commercial needs for particular high profile business lines. "We are constantly introducing new business lines, engaging with new B2B customers and developing new products. The right person, that proves themselves in this role, will have involvement in some interesting projects and new business units that we have coming down the track" - CFO ABOUT THE ROLE: Monthly sales/volume reporting Internal/External budget management & re-forecasting Liaise with the marketing team to prepare budgets & quarterly forecasts Margin Analysis for key products Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts Cost and price control Various ad-hoc projects Assisting the management of Junior staff ABOUT THE PERSON: Qualified accountant with a minimum of 4+ years of financial experience (training contract included) Strong financial analysis and problem solving skills Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Excellent working knowledge of MS office package, in particular Excel Highly energetic and commercially astute with excellent interpersonal skills Working across all business types, but exclusively within the accounting, finance & tax community, Barden exists to share bespoke advice, guidance and support to professionals along each step of their career journey.
