Financial Accountant

We are looking to recruit a newly qualified or part qualified Financial Accountant to join our Client's growing Finance Team in their head office in Naas, Co. Kildare. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the primary purpose of this role is to support the Head of Finance and related departments in all aspects of Accounting activities. This role will suit a newly qualified or part qualified accountant, seeking to make your first move into industry from practice, or leverage off your existing industry experience by joining a leading global organisation with fast paced career progression. To be successful in this role you will be responsible for monthly financial accounting to include preparation of journals, preparing accruals and prepayments, managing the chart of accounts and ensuring the overall integrity of the company's financial information. You will also be completing the Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations and debtors ledger including invoicing and receipts from customers. Part of your role will include reviewing of Employee Time-sheets and Expense Reports and building of sales invoices while preparing VAT and other Governmental returns. You will be expected to be involved in continuous improvement initiatives and various financial and operational projects within the Finance team. If you are Part-Qualified or Newly-Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA with experience in a fast paced environment and have knowledge of the principles of financial management and internal control methodologies then you could be the perfect fit for this role.
