You will work closely within the strategy team, building relationships and assisting the Senior Consultants and Heads of to deliver successful projects, either leading smaller projects or supporting workstreams of a larger programme.

Description

  • Independently conducts analysis. Ensures that the data and numbers are correct. Drives to a benefit number on small project/waves independently. Presents data in a clear format. Can coach the business where required to do analysis of good quality and helps the business to present this in a clear format.
  • Takes ownership of elements of presentations helping to develop the key messages for stakeholders with insightful data analytics. May also independently develop presentations for smaller projects.
  • Communicates clearly in a concise and structured manner contributing to all types of meetings, including presentations, discussions, facilitation, workshops etc. and can deal with a wide range of stakeholders in all these meetings.
  • Effectively deals with Head of/GM level stakeholders and below. Builds good and long-lasting relationships at that level and across finance - and support the narrative to drive agreement across a wide range of stakeholders on their project/wave. Can effectively turn around stakeholders and bring them on board.
  • Investigates business opportunities and gets to a financial / customer impact value
  • Identifies operational issues and develops new solutions together with the business to drive change. Receives positive feedback from the business and stays involved during implementation. Change is implemented and drives sustainable improvement in efficiency.
  • Building a deep understanding of the standard & advanced Lean and Six Sigma techniques and working towards being able to apply these techniques to undertake a range of complex analysis as needed in the project/wave. Likely to enrol in intermediate level qualifications for example Six Sigma Greenbelt Advanced.
  • Building knowledge of how their work contributes to the overall group financial position and likely working towards a financial qualification (eg CIMA) Understands the budgeting cycle and has a good understanding of gaps in the budget - and how the project/wave may help close these (or go beyond budget).
  • Profile

    The role requires an analytically-minded individual who thrives on driving change for the right reasons in a multinational business. You will be in regular contact with operational managers to senior executives and be confident in your presentation of opportunities. The ideal candidate will work alongside the business in a consultative manner to develop recommendations that improve customer experience and drive efficiencies.

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Analytical Problem Solving - adept at breaking down ambiguous problems into component parts, testing hypotheses using data analysis and recommending solutions that address the root causes of issues
  • Commercial and Financial Acumen - understands the key value drivers in an organisation and is able to relate these to the underlying financials. Technical finance proficiency is expected.
  • Stakeholder Management - demonstrated ability to adeptly manage complex stakeholder requirements to tight deadlines.
  • Transformation - proven ability to drive cost, EBITDA, or process improvements via change initiatives.
  • Change Management - able to recognise the important elements of change management and employ these insights to create effective change in large organisations
