Assistant Management Accountant/Finance Analyst

The company, based in North London, is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a friendly team in the busy head office.

This company is a large scale FMCG company which needs someone to be confident with the technical side of management accounting alongside forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis. Description

You will be responsible for assisting with key duties of the Management Accountant, such as:

• Update and reconciliation of intercompany balances
• Joint Venture account reporting and reconciliation
• Main Contractor account reconciliation
• Wages and accruals journals
• Cost of Sales analysis
• Analysis of overheads and direct costs
• Assist in managing the quarter/month end process
• Involvement in preparation of P&L and balance sheet
• Assist in tax computations
• Forecast reporting and budgeting
• Ad hoc system updating, reporting and analysis

Profile

The successful Assistant Management Accountant will:

• 2-3 years experience in a similar role
• Property background essential
• Experience in a multi-site environment
• Strong analytic skills and business acumen
• Team player with good communication skills
• Ability to critically review and challenge information
• Sage Line 50 experience preferred
• Strong excel skills
