Page Personnel Finance are exclusively recruiting a Senior Payroll Clerk for a large retail business in Nottingham. Our client is based just outside of Nottingham city centre.

Description

The Payroll Assistant will be reporting into the Payroll Manager and will be working alongside three other Senior Payroll Clerks. You will be working as part of a team. You will need experience in the following:

• Assisting the Payroll Manager with processing the weekly Payroll which includes up to 40,000 people

• Conducting manual calculations

• Calculating employee's pay

• Correctly applying relevant payroll legislation

• Assisting with month end and year end processes

• Assisting with maintaining written procedures for payroll and expense processing

• Checking and processing staff expenses

Profile

To apply for this role you:

• must have previous experience of working in payroll

• will be immediately available to start work or available within 1 week

Job Offer

This is a temporary role that will be running for a minimum of 6 months. There are lots of development opportunities within the business so could be great to showcase what you can do and get in on a permanent basis. They are paying up to £23,000 for this position.
