Experienced practice accountant job with small dynamic practice in Salisbury

Your new firm
You will be working for a small friendly firm that has been providing a comprehensive range of accountancy services in and around Salisbury and Bath for the past 20 years. They take a real pride in building effective relationships with clients and provide a complete accountancy support service that includes every aspect day to day accounts, payroll, VAT, personal and company tax, management accounts, strategic planning etc.

Your new role
You will be running the accounts function for the firm and managing new and existing clients. In the Salisbury Office they currently deal with clients from start ups to £10M turnover (no audit work) and use Xero and Sage/SAPA for client work.
There is a lot of new work coming in and referrals from existing clients, so need someone who is potentially capable of managing that process and supervising junior members of staff.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will not only be qualified ACA or ACCA (or close to qualifying), but will also be able to liaise confidently with clients with regard to accounting, tax and business matters. They will be assisting with the training and development of junior team members and will ideally have a good working knowledge of Sage and Xero, as well as standard Microsoft software.
