Bouygues Energies & Services UK currently has an exciting opportunity for an SPV Finance Manager to join our team in Brighton.
The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) accounting and tax, including preparation of management accounts, financial models, statutory accounts, tax computations and other reporting to lenders and investors.
As an SPV Finance Manager, your day to day duties will involve:
• Overseeing and reviewing the monthly reporting packs, budgets, and ad hoc information to shareholders and lenders including financial modelling and cash management
• Managing relationship with SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) Boards and shareholders (in conjunction with the CEOs), including presenting financial results at Board Meetings
• Leading and managing the preparation of statutory accounts and tax computations (mainly corporation tax and VAT) in conjunction with external auditors, advisers and SPV management team
• Providing prompt and accurate reporting of matters relevant to the obligations of the SPV under the project contractual obligations, together with such observations and recommendations as are deemed necessary and desirable
• Administering the financing agreements (including credit, inter-creditor, shareholders, accounts, credit facility, security, loan, investment, deed, calculations and forecasting agreements)
• Developing and maintaining a financial governance plan with the Head of SPV Management to ensure the Company is compliant with its MSA to demonstrate SPVs compliance with contractual requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
• Fully qualified accountant, preferably CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent - essential
• Must have previous SPV and PFI accounting experience
• Strong IT skills including advance Excel with the ability to use and support rebuilding detailed excel financial models
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to build sound relationships and liaise closely with both internal and external clients and key stakeholders at all levels
• Able to review and analyse complex financial data
