Collection Coordinator, Harrogate
Our well-established client is looking to recruit a Collection Coordinator to join the growing team on a full time, permanent basis!
This is an EXCITING opportunity to join a growing and successful organisation!
Responsibilities
Process receipts from customers; taking card payments or posting and allocating bank transferred amounts onto the system.
Daily maintenance of the sales-ledger update with receipts.
Liaise with staff and customers with regards to outstanding balances becoming due and late payments.
Generate daily reports, with customer appointments for the day and their balance status.
Handle telephone calls appropriately and re-direct customers to their assigned Coordinator if not a payment enquiry.
Understand the company's T's & C's to apply charges, confirm or reject refund requests.
Maintain the log of refunds due each week.
Report to Management with anticipated receipts from the Finance company, this will be a regularly updated forecast.
Update management daily on the collections performance.
Provide support to the Collections Team for a related entity and other records
Other ad-hoc duties within the Accounts Team, this list is non-exhaustive.
The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft office skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically over the phone and on email. You will be punctual and have excellent attention to detail. You will be prepared to work in part of a team as well as individually.
Previous experience in a collections or credit control role is essential, whilst self0motivation and ability to prioritise own workload is desirable.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm
