Consistently recognised as a leader in the retail industry, my client is looking to add an ambitious individual to its finance team of 6.

With on-the-job training available from the Financial Controller, this role is ideal for an individual who has 2-3 years' accounting experience but feels growth & development has hit a standstill at their current company.

The Financial Controller started at the business 4 years ago; his value-added has been recognised and subsequently he has been given several promotions; now the business is now looking for someone to follow in his footsteps.

The company is looking for someone who is thriving to learn the following areas:

-Assisting with preparing the month-end management accounts
-Profit & Loss reporting for all departments
-Cash flow forecasting and projecting findings to the Management Accountant
-Balance sheet reconciliations
-Month-end accruals, prepayments and journals

What skills do I need to apply for this role?

-2-3years' accounts experience at transactional level
-An AAT Qualification or be at final stages
-Drive and ambition to become a qualified member of the management team
-Ability to work in a fast-paced industry with regular deadlines to meet
