Reporting to the Cost Control Manager the responsibilities of the Cost Control Administrator include, providing support to the overall admin function and Cost Control Manager, to provide assistance in the daily running of the Estimates, Warranty and queries ensuring we are within SLA’s for both the customer and Suppliers, ensuring excellent customer service as well as reports formulated are sent in a timely manner.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To enable the department to run as efficiently as possible and ensure accurate data is gathered, ensuring estimates and queries are dealt with in a timely manner to allow the Fleet to run smoothly. Support the daily running of the cost controls on the overall Fleet. To Liaise / work alongside Suppliers and the Customer, dealing with daily reports and providing guidance to the admin function.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Daily Reports - Preparation and summary of reports
• Monthly Store Queries
• R2C - Estimates / Validation / authority levels
• Authorizations - estimates up to the value of £1000
• Maintaining Warranty spread sheet and manage with Suppliers
• Picking up any additional areas that require support as and when required within the team
• Ensure that all queries and tasks are dealt with efficiently and with professionalism
• Support colleagues on a daily basis at a highly professional level

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent. - Essential
• Mechanical experience - Essential
• Parts knowledge - Essential
Experience:
• Administrative Experience minimum 2 years - Essential
• Mechanical background - Essential
• Interfacing with customers / Suppliers on costs - Essential
• Invoicing experience - Desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
• Knowledge of the transport/automotive/refrigeration Industry - Essential
• Database management - Essential
• Knowledge of Kerridge / R2C - Essential
• IT literate (Microsoft Office/strong Excel knowledge - Advanced level) - Essential
• Strong written & verbal communication skills to provide a professional approach to both external & internal contacts - Essential
• Meeting deadlines, task orientated and prioritization - Essential
• Methodical, systematic working - Essential
• Excellent front-line customer handling skills, building relationships - Essential
• Strong attention to detail - Essential
• To be highly self-motivated and able to work individually and as part of a team - Essential
• Warranty Rejection & Submission - Essential
