The Client
Our client is looking for a Junior Motor Claims Handler to join their busy team based in Harrogate. They need someone work as part of a team and want to thrive in a high pressured working environment and be able to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner.
The Role
Your key responsibilities will include:
.Handling all aspects of technical motor claims in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.
.Negotiate with claimants and liaise with clients in accordance with individual requirements to achieve professional and timely conclusions of claims.
.Identify and investigate potentially fraudulent cases
.Produce reports in compliance with professional standards and internal guidelines in line with agreed timescales.
.Act as a technical referral for the team and other colleagues in the claims department as appropriate.
.Ensure company standards are met in relation to all technical and operational policies and procedures. (Data protection and information security)
The Offer
Our client is offering a generous salary of £18,000-£20,000 per annum dependant on experience. The working hours consist of 9am-5pm Monday to Friday with an hour lunch break. Travel may be required as and when so flexibility is a must. Proven experience with motor claims and personal injury claims handling is desirable. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred
