My exclusive client based in North Wales is currently looking to appoint a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the post-holder will be responsible for the production of a full set of management accounts and will enable added value management decisions to be made on the basis of the information provided. This opportunity will offer bona fide fast track progression to Financial Controller within the next 2 years.

Key duties will include;

1. Monthly sales and margin analysis
2. Full monthly balance sheet review
3. Liaison with the financial accountant to aid statutory accounts production
4. Detailed pricing analysis
5. Monthly management review
6. Full budgeting and forecasting control
7. Annual audit lead
8. Detailed monthly overheads and labour analysis
9. Supporting and driving system improvements
10. Full commercial control of rebates/commissions
11. Link with IT for system issues
12. Fixed assets, intangibles management and depreciation control
13. Project assignments

Candidates will ideally be fully qualified although active studiers and those qualified by experience will also be considered. A can-do attitude and enthusiasm along with good technical experience is essential.
