Summary

The Offshore Capital Market Team is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, allocating, executing, and monitoring fund and company investments in the global capital market.

The Team currently manages a number of investment products across asset class for CreditEase clients, and seeks to generate superior long term risk-adjusted return across a range of investment strategies.

This role will provide an opportunity for the candidate to learn more about the evaluation and monitoring of global capital market opportunities, including equity, bond and alternative investments.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the offshore capital markets team on all aspects of product management, investment research, portfolio & client reporting, and marketing of capital markets products
• Assist in sourcing, conducting due diligence of fund investments spanning across all liquid asset class, and investment strategies globally
• Perform manager research including quantitative analysis, qualitative evaluation, market research/database analysis, legal & business documents review
• Prepare written meeting notes, due diligence reports and commentaries on managers and market trends
• Assist with post investment monitoring including performance analysis & regular portfolio review
• Ongoing product management duties and supporting fund operations, including liaising with related departments and external parties
• Provide support to the team's marketing effort and preparing marketing and training materials
• Remain abreast of industry trends, regulatory matters, and market events impacting funds, managers, clients, and the industry

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Risk management and/or Quantitative finance related disciplines
• Good command of written & spoken Mandarin and English, Cantonese is a plus
• Passion to learn and develop a career in investment management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-minded and able to work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg
