McWilliam Park Hotel Mayo are currently recruiting for a Chef De Partie to join the team. The Hotel The 4 Star McWilliam Park Hotel is located in the town of Claremorris in the heart of the West, half way between Galway and Sligo. The hotel consists of 103 beautifully decorated bedrooms, 4 meeting rooms plus the McWilliam Suite which can cater up to 600 delegates. The leisure centre at the hotel includes a gym, 18m indoor pool, Sauna, Steam room and Jacuzzi. Using fine local produce, John Gray's Restaurant serves a creative menu with a wide range of cuisine. Kavanagh's Bar and Lounge features live entertainment and provides a range of hearty dishes and drinks. The Role The successful candidate will assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing, producing and serving food that will surpass customer expectations. The Ideal candidate will be an all-rounder, able to work Restaurant Main Course, Starter and Dessert Sections also covering shift in the Bar Section and Breakfast in a very busy Kitchen environment. Duties To cook food to the required specifications  To ensure the smooth running of food service with Kitchen and Restaurant personnel  To ensure all special requests are met  To work in an organised, hygienic manner at all times ensuring the HACCP regulations are adhered to. To receive goods from suppliers, when required, and to ensure products conform with HACCP specifications. Primary Food Hygiene certification essential The role will involve shift work, weekend work also will be involved (no split shifts). You will be professional, enthusiastic, will display a positive attitude and have the ability to work in a team environment. Experience essential. Good Knowledge of English is required for this role.
