Financial Controller - VC Backed Start-Up - London

The Client

A fast-growing tech scale up backed by 2 major VC's is expanding its business internationally. They are a disruptive PropTech firm with operations in the UK and Europe and have experienced growth of 300% Year on Year. My client is based in a fantastic Central London office with the chance to travel to multiple European locations monthly to Partner with members of Leadership team.

The Role

The Financial Controller will work closely with the leadership team and CFO primarily responsible for running the Finance function but with extensive Business Partnering and work on upcoming M&A activity.

The role:

• Responsible for producing monthly Management Accounts and Year-End Accounts (IFRS)
• Manage the monthly close process
• Management of an international operational Finance team
• Work with leadership teams to support market expansion and entry strategies (International)
• Streamline Finance processes and Systems
• Manage the Due Diligence and Integration on M&A projects
• Provide Accounting advice and support as new product lines and international entities are incorporated
• Provide Decision Support across the business
• Engage closely with several Business Units and Senior Stakeholders in a Business Partnering capacity

Required Experience:

• ACA/ACCA (2+ Years Post Qualified)
• Start-up experience is advantageous
• Excellent Communicator
• Technically Strong
• Ability to work with Senior stakeholders

Offered Package:

• £70,000 + 20% Bonus + Options
• Start Date ASAP (can wait 3 months)
