Senior Finance Manager - Systems

We are working exclusively on a fantastic opportunity as Senior Finance Systems Manager to join a profitable and growing large organisation as part of the senior management team taking ownership of group finance systems. The successful applicant will join this organisation at an exciting time as with growth in recent years they are continuing to expand the Finance team.

This is a project-focused, strategic role working on a programme of transformation within the Finance department. Through closely partnering with Finance and IT teams across the organisation, the role will seek to coordinate and leverage company assets and resources to design and deliver both improved business processes and a short and long term finance systems improvement strategy.

You will be the main point of contact within the finance function for guidance, leadership, advice and support on financial processes and business systems

Key responsibilities of Senior Finance Systems Manager role will include:
-Identify short and long term requirements as part of a transformational finance systems and process strategy, then create the business case for change.
-Business partner the wider finance community to drive understanding and engagement to leverage maximum value out of the new suite of tools and reports that the changes will bring
-Assess business training needs, contribute to training strategy and documentation
-Manage User Acceptance Testing and approve go-live into production
-Support Business activities and processes e.g. during month / year end, system & financial audits, data extract/uploads and interpretation of results

The ideal Senior Finance Systems Manager will possess the following attributes/skills:
-Degree Calibre ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified
-Energetic, positive/can do and sense of humour with the drive and ambition to succeed and drive change
-Capable of working effectively under pressure, managing multiple priorities
-Sufficient years working knowledge of finance systems, preferably SAP
-Excellent analytical and excel skills
-Possess excellent interpersonal skills and an aptitude for building relationships across all levels of an organisation
-Previous team management experience
