Management Accountant

A varied and challenge role with a rapidly expanding business based in Central Norwich.

Your new company
Our client, a unique and rapidly expanding business based in Central Norwich, is seeking an experience Management Accountant with excellent IT skills to join their business in a newly created position.

Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Finance this varied role will support the implementation and upgrade of systems and processes in addition to fulfilling core accounting duties. Key responsibilities include:

• Under direction from the Head of Finance support project teams to implement new, and update existing, systems for the processing
• To document existing processes and systems.
• Test internal processes and procedures and once confirmed to be documented
• Ensure all policies and procedures are up to date within the finance function and wider business
• Work with the head of finance, and budget holders to design and develop both internal and external management reports to better inform the business
• Liaise with external stakeholders where necessary including, but not limited to, sponsor department, internal and external auditors and system developers in order to achieve these tasks
• To instil a culture of robust control and efficiency throughout the business and liaise closely with the risk and governance department
• To produce management accounts, cashflow forecasts and budgets as required in conjunction with the head of finance.

What you'll need to succeed
Suitable candidates will have recent management accounting experience, excellent IT skills including intermediate/advanced Excel and a pro-active and problem solving approach. In addition to this excellent communication skill and the ability to challenge and influence.
