We have a great opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to develop their career as a Management Accountant.
Based just outside of Taunton, Somerset we are looking for a full time trainee management accountant to join a growing financial team to support accounts.
The Role
* Responsible for financial reporting to gross profit level
*
Provide additional analysis for R&A notes for areas above as required for interim & year end audits
*
Provide auditor analyses as required
*
Production of weekly labour efficiency reports, meeting with production managers and responding to any queries raised.
*
Purchase Price Variance analysis and reporting
*
Weekly exception reporting of material variances to site managers
*
Monthly reporting of total material wastage to senior management team and responding to queries arising
*
Maintain standard costs and financial set up of new items
*
Monitor that variance process functions correctly
*
Seek ways to make continuous improvements to working methods & processes
*
Review and maintain procedures relating to above
*
Representation on company committees as required
The Details
* Full time, Mon to Fri
* £24000-£26000 per annum
* Outskirts of Taunton based
* Temp to Perm
* AAT qualified advantageous but not essential
