Bookkeeper
£24,000 - £28,000
Key Responsibilities: -
Accountable for delivering an accurate trial of company spending, the bookkeeper will be responsible for the variety of activities that can include:
- Management of sales ledger
- Balancing accounts on a day to day basis or week to week basis.
- Working closely with accountants to prepare VAT returns.
- Ensuring bank statements and sage match correctly.
- Inputting expenses.
- Inputting invoices where needed.
- Ensuring all nominal codes are used correctly.
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong bookkeeping skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Solid organisational skills & excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly computer literate.
- Must have Sage 50 experience.
- Knowledge of excel
