An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join a leading business based in Colchester. Reporting to the Financial Accountant, this is a key role providing accurate, timely and informative information and financial analysis.
The main responsibilities include the following:
Duties:
* Prepare, reconcile and analyse where appropriate aspects of the monthly Management Accounts for specific product areas; this may cover multiple divisions
* Support with month-end activities, include reporting and balance sheet control
* Assist in the production of financial analysis
* Calculate bad debt provisions, accruals and prepayments
* Process intercompany transactions
* Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
We are looking for candidates with excellent attention to detail, enthusiasm and being able to work as a team is essential for this role.
