THE COMPANY:
Brewster Pratap are exclusively recruiting for an ambitious privately owned SME in Rotherham close to Doncaster. Due to ongoing growth and success in their sector this business now requires a Bookkeeper / Finance Manager to manage their day to day accounting function working between 24 - 30 hours per week. The hours can be flexible working around 3 days or spread over 5 days to suit the successful applicant.
THE JOB:
Reporting into the Managing Director and working as the sole accounts person you will be responsible for preparing the accounts to trial balance and working with the external auditors at year end. Your key duties will be:
* Raising sales invoices
* Credit Control via email, letter and phone
* Handling invoice queries
* Processing purchase invoices and passing for authorisation
* Using Sage
* Managing small payroll function
* Intrastats
* Managing invoice financing function
THE PERSON:
Ideally you will have previous experience of using Sage and be a competent user of Microsoft Excel. You must be confident and professional and able to work off your own initiative, able to question current systems and procedure and suggest and implement improvements.
