Salary £90,000 - £95,000 per annum
Working for an established reputable organisation, this is an exciting new opportunity for a Head of Financial Planning to join and provide support to the Deputy CFO in two distinctive segments of the business; Pensions and Investment management. You will be responsible for leading the development of the company’s financial planning and decision making; supporting the Group CEO, CFO and Deputy CFO. Developing the planning and budgetary control framework to drive desired behaviour, control and to improve performance measurements, responsibility will include;
* Managing all aspects of Group financial planning, including the preparation, review, approval, implementation and monitoring of the 3 year plan, annual plan and budget.
* Ensuring that Financial Planning Processes are open, transparent and inclusive, underpinned by a value for money approach.
* Reviewing and constructively challenging the financial plans for each of the Segmental Businesses, ensuring they are fully aligned with the Group.
* Identifying, assessing and monitoring risks associated with the Group financial plan, including financial, resourcing and structural risks.
* Facilitating stakeholder involvement in the financial planning process including the Board, Group Executives and other key stakeholder groups.
* Developing a Value for Money framework
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in financial planning or strategy experience preferably in a Financial Services or consultancy environment. You will also ideally be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified. Have experience in dealing with and influencing at executive level with the ability to introduce new approaches and concepts. Skills in analysing and presenting data that supports and promotes group financial planning and strategy would also be desirable.
