Assistant Accountant
Wakefield
£25,000 to £30,000 per annum

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with my client based in Wakefield, who operate within the electronics industry. The company are looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their busy and expanding team on a full time permanent basis.
Duties of the Assistant Accountant will include:
• Production of VAT returns
• Monthly reconciliation for central cash settlements and intercompany balances
• Rebate analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• SAP development
• Month end assistance
• Ad hoc duties supporting the management accountant
Skills and experience required:
• Knowledge of and experience using SAP
• Not essential but desirable: AAT qualification
• Advanced level Excel
• Highly organised
• Excellent communication skills
