Head Chef, Excellent Package (Incl Subsidised Accommodation if Required), Daytime Role

Exciting opportunity in an idyllic location that would suit an ambitious, energetic, hands on chef. We are a 140 seater tea rooms, serving breakfast, brunch, light lunch and pastry, and we have our own allotment to grow produce for the cafe. Fun loving, hard working team. Free parking. Company yoga! Subsidised accommodation can be provided.  Experience at senior sous chef/head chef level is a must for this primarily day time job. The role includes managing a team of 6 kitchen staff and liaising closely with front of house management to ensure the smooth operation of the business. The tea rooms also hosts unique occasions including boutique weddings, cultural and sporting events and nature projects that deliver an extra dimension of work satisfaction. The successful candidate will have: At least 5 years experience in critically acknowledged eateries. A passion for producing wholesome food.  Excellent pastry skills. The skill to ensure that the menu is produced consistently, even under pressure. Strong leadership skills and a willingness to continue to grow and learn as a chef. A genuine interest in looking after people - making our customers feel welcome and ensuring they leave relaxed and well fed. Competence in all aspects of kitchen management including ordering, costings, hygiene and safety. Fluent spoken and written English.
