Senior Tax Manager - Big 4

We are partnering with a Big 4 Accounting firm in Cork who are expanding their tax function due to an increased client base across the firm. About the role: The senior manager will primarily be responsible for a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ranging from multinational groups but also some local family run companies. The role will primarily be an advisory role working closely with the tax partners. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain broad tax experience in a supportive and dynamic environment and be involved in the development of the team in Cork. The responsibilities of the role will include: Responsible for ensuring clients' corporate tax requirements met, including reviewing corporate tax compliance at a high level and providing ad hoc advice on complex issues as required Identifying planning opportunities for clients and providing technical reports and memos including restructuring, M&A work etc Working on global compliance projects, co-ordinating with colleagues in various international offices Developing teams and mentoring junior staff About the person: A qualified tax consultant, at manager/senior manager level either in an accounting firm or a multinational company with strong corporate tax experience, ideally international tax. The person should have an interest in leading a team and supporting the continued growth of the tax team and wider firm.
