Group Finance Manager

The Consultancy Group are currently recruiting a Group Finance Manager role for an AIM Listed Media / Technology business based in Central London. This newly created role will work closely with the CFO and Group Financial Controller as the business continues with their Global Restructuring Programme.

The Group Finance Manager will take ownership of the actuals whilst improving the efficiency in which the numbers are compiled. The Group Finance Manager will bring insight and credibility to the results whilst maintaining a reporting and control environment suitable for a listed business. As the business continues to evolve, the Group Finance Manager will introduce and improve processes and as such will be a driver of change. Duties include;

• Prepare monthly Group consolidation and management accounts - forecast and actual
• Provide technical accounting and reporting support to regional finance teams
• Prepare the Annual and Interim Financial Statements and manage the Group audit process
• Prepare consolidated cash flow forecast and reporting
• Assist the Group Financial Controller in managing compliance with AIM Listing rules
• Month-end - Re-work the month-end timetable, speeding up reporting and ensuring consistency of delivery
• MI - Introduce and improve management information for the Board, Management Team and budget holders
• Significant ad-hoc Project work including systems
• Involvement in due diligence work on potential acquisitions and integration of new acquired businesses

The successful candidate will be ACA Qualified with post-qualification experience gained within industry. They will have consolidation experience coupled with exposure of multiple currencies. The successful candidate can expect a strong interaction with the Financial Planning and Analysis as the business works with this individual to progress them into the Group Financial Controller role.
