Role

A growing and expanding accountancy practice based in Milton Keynes are currently recruiting for a Practice Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. As Practice Accountant you will receive a salary of up to £40,000 per annum along with a fantastic benefits package. The duties of the role include:

- Management of a portfolio of clients on a month and annual basis

- Completion of monthly management accounts

- Completion of annual statutory accounts for multiple clients who operate across an array of industries

- Completion of VAT and Intrastat returns

- Submission of financial and tax information to HMRC

- Completion of monthly bookkeeping duties including purchase and sales ledger

- Completion of monthly journals, prepayment and accruals

- Seeking new business opportunities and acting as an external consultant for clients

Profile

To be considered for the role of Practice Accountant based in Milton Keynes you MUST:

- Have worked within an accounting practice previously

- Have sound working knowledge of finance and accounting

- Have strong organisational skills

- Be a team player

- Always be looking to add value to your client base

Salary & Benefits

As Practice Accountant you will receive a salary of between £25000 and £40000 per annum along with a fantastic benefits package including 35 days total holiday, pension, bonus, progression, study support (if required) and other specific benefits
