My fabulous client now require an experienced professional- but please note they are not looking for just a number cruncher! The successful candidate will have the ability to review numbers and liaise across various departments and teams- process figures, question and also make the lead in instigating new process or any changes that need to be implemented.

Job Role

Supervise two members of staff

Month end Journals including Accruals and Prepayments

Monthly review of overheads against budget

Weekly, monthly, quarterly cash flow forecast

Gross margin reporting

Gross margin variance analysis

Weekly sales reporting

Sub - Contractor payments

Preparation of VAT return

Preparation of monthly management accounts pack for five companies

Preparation of year end accounts.

Skills and experience

Thorough knowledge of CIS

Experience in job/contract costing

Must have had experience in Construction /Infrastructure industry

Must have worked in similar capacity at least for minimum of three years.

System experience

Medium to advance in Excel

Medium to advance user of Jet reports

Good knowledge of Navision accounts package

Qualification: CIMA/ACCA-Part or fully qualified
