Accountancy Practice - Payroll Clerk - South Preston

Your new company
You will be joining a leading independent firm of accountants based in the South Preston area. This firm are looking to appoint a Payroll Clerk to ensure the smooth running of the payroll for their longstanding clients.

Your new role
As a stand alone Payroll Clerk, you will have responsibility for the end to end payroll process for around 150 clients whose employee numbers range from individuals through to about 20. Using Moneysoft you will be responsible for the processing of the payroll on a weekly, monthly and four weekly basis, dealing with an queries that arise and liaising with both HMRC and clients alike.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you will have experience working within a Payroll position previously and ideally have worked within an accountancy firm or bureau environment. You should be up to date with the latest UK legislation in regards to SSP, SMP, SPP, RTI and Auto enrolment. You will have a high attention to detail and be able to work to deadlines. An organised individual is essential for this role as is the ability to communicate effectively.

What you'll get in return
In return this firm are offering a competitive salary and benefits package, they work Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.00 and are currently offering 20 days holiday + bank holidays. There is a pension and parking is available close by.
